Miami Cigar Sales Meeting Day 1
As I write this I am sitting in the conference room of La Aurora and the sales meeting is about to begin. I’ve always felt at home here in the Dominican Republic since I first came here as a blogger over 3 years ago. Today, I sit in on my second meeting since I became a part of the Miami Cigar & Company team. I am even more excited today, than when I first made the journey from New York over a year ago.
Today we start with the history of La Aurora, and while there aren’t many things I can show, I can share that I am smoking a new project that will be a first for La Aurora. It has to do with the shape of the cigar, and I guess one can read between the lines, but I can say no more. A picture of the cigar is at the bottom of this post.
We left Miami and the shenanigans began at the airport, when we started with some beers while waiting for our slight delayed flight. We ran into Carlto Fuente and had a brief conversation as the rest of the crew began to arrive from various destinations.
I’ll check in from time to time from this trip, and you can follow me on Instagram to check out photo updates on the fly.
